Hello beloved blog,
I need to apologize in advance for the "ranting-like" nature of this post. I've always said that writing is my catharsis and will continue to be one of the mediums by which I blow off steam, and that is never going to be truer than it is today. Readers, you have been warned - if this post seems angry, ticked off, annoyed, petty, et cetera, you don't have to continue reading any further - it's your choice. Let's get down to business.
To start things off, my faithful old car has finally decided to kick the bucket and give me living hell. The head gasket blew in the engine and they told me that it would cost more than I paid for my car to fix it. Hence the state of frustration I'm living in right now.
Thankfully, I was able to use my car for the time I needed it to, and getting another car by this point is pretty much a secondary factor. I mean, it'd be nice to have something to have that I can drive around Pocatello for the next few days, but at the same time, it'll be pretty okay to start walking around. That is, unless the weather decides to be terrible.
Interesting dilemmas.....
Anyway, stay tuned for a series of posts about the Frank Church Symposium!
