Getting played like a deck of cards......again.
You know what, I'm not falling for it this time. I'm making the conscious choice to walk away from something before it decides to blow up in my face.
Take that, jerk.
On a lighter note, there are some big adventures in the works throughout the next couple of weeks, and hopefully they'll provide the necessary distraction I need to focus on doing what I love the most: being busy. Going to Blackfoot, ID next week to judge speech and debate - and this I'm only doing because I was given the condition that I would be used as a parliamentarian. Still love Student Congress, even after all of these years. Plus, I may actually get reading for my classes done.
The week after that is my birthday - turning 22 - always a good time and the week after that is the Frank Church Symposium here at Idaho State University.
The latter is going to be a "thank god I survived this and now I'm finally free feeling." All year spent working on it and at the end of this month, beginning of March, it'll all have been worth it. The end of that week, I'm going to a rave, yes, you read that right, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
To round things out, the week after that, I'm taking a road trip to California to visit with my sister again and drive her car back to Idaho. At least I'll get out of the snowy hinterlands for a couple of days.
Anyway, I'll make my next post on Valentine's Day - that ought to be interesting.
Until next time!
